How to test your webcam online

Why your browser camera may not appear
If the camera test fails, the cause is usually permission, device availability, or a browser environment issue.

Open browser site settings and allow camera access for this page. Then refresh the camera list and start the test again.
Another app is using the camera
Close other video-call apps or browser tabs that may already be using the camera, then retry the preview.
Unsupported browser environment
Some in-app browsers and QR scanner webviews cannot request camera permission correctly. Open the page in a real browser.

How do I test my webcam online?

The camera may be blocked by permission settings, already used by another app, disconnected, or unavailable in the current browser environment.
Can I test Extroid Camera before Google Meet?
Yes. Connect your device with Extroid, open Camera Check, select Extroid Camera, and confirm that the preview works.
Does this camera test record my video?
No. This page previews the selected camera in your browser. It is for checking permission and camera availability before a call.
Can I use this before Zoom Web or Google Meet?
Yes. This page helps confirm that the browser sees your camera before you join a browser-based video call. It does not test native desktop apps.
What camera should I select if I use Extroid?
Select Extroid Camera. If it does not appear, make sure your device is connected through Extroid and refresh the camera list.
