After your device connects, Chrome exposes a camera option named Extroid Camera. In Google Meet, select it from the video settings.

Add Extroid to browser
Install Extroid from the Chrome Web Store and open the extension side panel.
Connect your device by QR code
Sign in, scan the QR code, open the Extroid page on the connected device, and allow camera access.
Check Extroid Camera
Open Camera Check and confirm that Extroid Camera is visible and showing live video.
Select Extroid Camera in Google Meet
Open Google Meet in Chrome, go to Settings → Video → Camera, and choose Extroid Camera.

Check these before your call to avoid setup problems.
Recommended setup
- Chrome or another Chromium-based browser.
- Google Meet opened in the browser.
- Extroid extension installed and connected.
- Camera access allowed on the connected device.
- Both devices on the same Wi‑Fi whenever possible.
- Connected device screen stays on during the call.
Compatibility limit
Extroid does not install a desktop camera driver. It works inside supported browser calls where Chrome can use Extroid Camera.
If Extroid Camera does not appear
These are the most likely causes before a Google Meet call
The device is not connected yet
Open the Extroid extension, scan the QR code again, and keep the connected device page open.
Camera permission was blocked
Allow camera access on the connected device and retry the connection.
The network blocks the connection
Use the same Wi‑Fi on both devices, or try using your connected device as a hotspot.
Google Meet is using another camera
Open Settings → Video → Camera in Meet and manually choose Extroid Camera
